Relaxing(James)Mature

"I love you too. But, I'm going to need to run outside into the woods for a few minutes. I have to hunt. I know it's difficult but I have to," he said. He never once had fed on human blood and he wasn't about to start doing it.

She nodded and let go of him. "I'll wait for you." she said softly. She took a step back letting him go to the forest to feed

James smiled at her. "I won't be long, I promise. I also promise no cute animals will die as well," he said. He got out of the shower and went to pull on boxers and a pair of shorts. He then left the house and jumped the fence and took to a run into the forest to find a bear or something not cute to feed on.

She turned off the shower and went to their bedroom. She slipped on underwear, shorts, and a tank top. She went downstairs to the living room and sat down on the couch. She sighed softly

James stopped at a stream on the way back to clean up his face. He jumped the fence and walked into the house. On his hand was a ring protecting him from the sun. He spotted her on the couch and walked to her. "I'm back, Carolyn," he said. He knelt down showing his normal colored eyes and no veins on his face.

She hugged him and smiled softly.

James jugged her back. "Don't worry I left the rabbits and deer alone. I went after a male grizzly bear," he said. He just hoped she was okay with him being a vampire.

She looked at his face and smiled. "Thats good." she said and she kissed his lips.

He kissed her back but pulled away to look in her eyes. "Are you alright with me being a vampire? Cause I won't be mad if your not," he said. He had set up a whole bunch of roses and stuff outside before he had gone hunting. There was also another puppy outside with a collar around it's neck asking her to marry him. It also had the ring box strapped to it's back.

She smiled at him softly. "I'm more then alright with it. I love you, silly." she said softly

He smiled at her. "Good, I want you to go out in the back yard," he said. He stood up and took her hand to help her up.

She held his hand and got up. She walked to the backyard with him and she saw the roses and stuff. She also saw the puppy and she looked at James

"Go see the new puppy. I think Missy likes him. Also I think he has something for you," he said. He lead her outside. It was sunny out but he was protected by his ring.

She walked to the puppy and knelt down. She looked at the puppy's collar and took off the ring. She gasped softly and read what was written down. Tears started to cascade down her face and she looked at James. "Yes. Yes, I'll marry you." she said

James walked to her and took the box from her hand and took the ring from the box. He took her left hand and gently slipped the ring onto her hand. "I love you, Carolyn," he said. He gently kissed her lips then kissed away the tears.

She closed her eyes and opened them. She threw her arms around his neck. "I love you too, James." she said softly

"This means we can be together without problems. I'm glad I told you my secret," he said. He moved and picked her up and carried her to the swing. He sat down and sat her on his lap.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. "Can you tell me more about vampires and what you eat?" she asked

"Well, without the ring on my right hand I can't be in the sun like I am now. Others unlike myself feed on human blood. They are much stronger than I am. I feed on animal blood. This way I never have the urge to feed on you. But, when I smell blood black veins show up under my eyes and they turn black and then my fangs extend," he said. He had smelt blood earlier in the shower that's why he moved away from her.

She nodded and held on to him. She kissed his nose and smiled. She then kissed his lips and closed her eyes. She had a song that she wrote and wanted to sing to him

James read her mind a little bit. "Hmm, is there anything you wish to tell me or sing to me," he said. He held onto her and gently kissed her neck.

She moaned softly. "Just a song that I wrote." she said softly. She closed her eyes

James smiled at her. "Hmm, that was a beautiful song. But, I think my friends are here," he said. He was glad he could hear stuff better than anyone else could.

Stefan and Damien were at the front door not knowing if they could enter after knocking. Even if James was there friend. But, Stefan took the honour and knocked on the door.
