Emergency(Krystal)

Max parked the truck and got out. He went to the bed of the truck

Krystal got out and took James from his car seat. Buddy was awake but barely. Shooter had blacked out again. Krystal had called on the way. Twp men with dog stretchers came out to wheel the injured dogs inside to get checked.

Miley looked at Krystal and whimpered. Max went inside and sat down. He sighed softly.

Krystal sighed and petted Miley. "Come on. We can all go inside," she said. James giggled. "Miley come," he said. Krystal went inside and sat beside Max to wait. She had her cheaque book ready for the amount of money needed for both dogs. But, then her eyes had went completely blind again and she opened her walking stick just so if she had to get up and walk she could use it.

Miley got out of the truck and the puppies followed her. She went inside with her puppies and laid down near James. Max took her hand and held it.

"Max, if they can't fix his back I'll have to ask you to train Shooter to be my eyes," she said. She couldn't see but she could feel. James was sitting on a chair without needing his mom or dad to hold him. He was looking at the stick his mommy was holding.

Max nodded. "Okay, baby." he said and he looked at James. Miley and the puppies were laying down in front of James

James wanted to give Miley a hug. "Miley, hug," he said. He knew she liked it when he hugged her. Krystal took sunglasses from her pocket and without help she got them on. She didn't want anyone knowing she was blind or crying about the two dogs.

Miley looked at James and she wanted him to give her a hug. Max sighed softly and kissed Krystal's forehead.

James got off the chair and gently hugged Miley. "All better, Miley," he said. He wanted to cheer up his dog. He liked her very much. Krystal sighed and leaned her head on Max's shoulder and took off her sunglasses but kep her eyes closed. She was waiting to hear anything about the two dogs.

A man dressed in white with a little bit of blood left the swinging doors and was walking towards them.

Max saw the vet and waited to hear what he had to say. Miley gently licked James's cheek

The vet sighed. "Well, Shooter is going to recover but very slowly. He's going to need to be kept away from the other dogs. Buddy is just fine. He fixed his back and he'll need two days of rest before he can go back to working as a seeing eye dog again," he said. Two men wheeled tables out with Buddy and Shooter asleep on them.

Krystal heard all this and smiled. She was happy for her dogs. She opened her eyes and felt around for Max's hand before holding it. James heard and hugged Miley more. "Miley, Buddy and Shooter are okay," he said.

Miley wagged her tail and looked at her puppies. Her tail stopped wagging because there was something wrong with her puppies. She gently licked them and they didn't respond

The vet noticed the puppies. "Hmm, it seems something is wrong with your puppies. I'll take a quick look which won't cost you anything. Also, Krystal's cousin, Edward paid for your dogs to get fixed," he said. He started looking over each puppy and sighed. He knew they needed to get warmed up fast.

James watched the man checking over the puppies. He wanted them to be okay. Krystal put her cheaque book in her pocket just glad she didn't have to pay anything for her dogs.

Miley whimpered and gently licked her puppies. She looked at Buddy and Shooter. Max nodded

The vet sighed. "Their just sick. I'll give each of them a shot of anit-biotics to help them get better. But, once they are back home make them lay curled up under a blanket for a while and keep a heater close to them," he said. He gave each puppy the shot of anit-biotics to make them feel better.

Krystal sighed and knew now they could go home. James petted Miley hoping she wouldn't get protective of her puppies with him right near them.

Miley kept an eye on her puppies and Max nodded.

"There, all better. We'll give you a basket to take them home in. You can take all of the dogs home now too," he said. He set a basket down and went back through the swinging doors to help the next animal.

Krystal got up and hoped she could use her walking stick and carry James without help. James was picked up by his mom and he knew to hold on to her with a good grip see she had to use her walking stick now.

Miley moved her puppies to the basket and Max picked up the basket. Miley went to Buddy and Shooter

The men wheeled the tables out to the truck to wait for Max to move them onto blankets in the truck bed.

Buddy and Shooter were sound asleep but they had been drugged to stay asleep. Krystal carried James outside as she walked using her walking stick. She put him in his car seat before getting into the truck herself. James hugged his toy dog and fell asleep in his car seat.

Max put the basket of puppies in the backseat and Miley went to the bed of the truck and jumped in. Max walked back in and gently picked up Shooter and carried in to the truck. He gently laid him down on a blanket in the bed of the truck. He went back in and gently picked up Buddy. He carried Buddy to the truck and he laid him down on a blanket in the bed of the truck. He closed the back of the bed of the truck and went to the driver's seat. He got in and buckled his seat belt. He started the truck and backed it out. He headed home
