Too Little Too Late (Max)

She sighed. "But, it would mean a breat reduction at the same time. But, once done they said they can fix them so they look the same," she said.

He nodded and smiled. He gently kissed her cheek and held her

She was tired and needed to rest. "Can we get some sleep? I need to rest. I can't stand feeling how I do about my cancer," she said. She wrapped her legs and arms around him.

He nodded and carried her to their bedroom. He laid her down in the bed and laid down behind her. He pulled the blanket over them and kissed the back of her neck. "Get some sleep." he said

She moved and pressed her back right against him. She felt bad. She knew why most of the time she tried to were a shirt when ever they had fun. It was to hide the lumps she had on them. She sighed. "I'll try. But, what if I stay to feel sick again," she said.

He kissed the back of her neck again. "I'll help you through this, my love." he said softly

She sighed. She knew if she had another child to not breast feed it. She's buy formula stuff for it. She didn't want a child to have cancer from milk.

He smiled softly."Now, get some rest." he said

She cuddled into him and soon enough she fell asleep. She was happy being right with him.

He smiled and fell asleep.

She stayed asleep with him. James had found his way out of his room and walked into their bedroom and got on the bed with them. He was crying from a bad dream. He needed to sleep in their bed tonight. Buddy was fast asleep with Miley.

Max woke up and kissed his son's forehead. He then fell back asleep.

James got between them under the blanket. Krystal had put her night gown on knowing James had bad dreams every single night. Buddy woke and nosed at Miley. He was telling her he would be back. He went outside to use the bathroom but an actual wolf was waiting and tackled him. It was his mate from the pack he found. He growled and a fight broke out.

Miley got up and ran outside. She barked at Buddy and whinnied.

Buddy jumped up to defend Miley. The wolf bolted past him and tackled Miley to the ground and started to rip at her. Buddy barked loudly trying to alert Max or Krystal to come help.

Max woke up and ran outside. He had grabbed something to scare the wolf and he hit the wolf. Miley whimpered in pain.

Buddy got mean and jumped at Max. He started to bite his arm to make him drop what he was holding. The wolf was carrying pups. They were his pups.

Max winced in pain and went to Miley's side. Miley whimpered in pain and Max made soft soothing noises. "It's okay. Miley." he said softly. Miley gently licked Max's hand and whimpered. "Let's get you inside, girl. We need to treat your wounds." he said. He looked at Buddy and sighed. "I was just trying to get that wolf off of Miley. If I didn't do anything, Miley would be dead and James would be upset. You have no idea what Miley went through when she thought that you were dead.Now, I have to go and take Miley in the house to treat her wounds and I hope that wolf didn't hurt the puppies" he said. He looked down at Miley and started to pick her up.

Buddy looked to the wolf and walked to her. He nosed her belly checking on her pups. The pups were all alive. He wanted Max to keep the wolf here until her pups were gone. He barked at him. Krystal woke not feeling Max and James stayed fast asleep beside her. She got up slowly and pulled his robe over her arms and went to find him.

Miley lifted her head and gently nose her belly. She put her head down in relief due to the fact the Buddy' puppies were still alive in her. Max sighed softly and looked over Miley. He saw that there were very little injuries and he sighed in relief. He looked at Buddy. "That wolf won't go any where near Miley or James or Krystal. I also don't want that wolf in the house " he said. He started to pick up Miley but Miley didn't want to be picken up. She got up slowly and she staggered a little. She whimpered softly and she finally was standing. She looked at Buddy and whimpered.

Buddy gently licked the female wolf before walking to Miley and gently licking her wounds to clean them for her. He wouldn't be with the wolf while he had Miley to take care of. He knew the wolf couldn't handle a litter of his puppies and knew she'd die from the birth of them.

Miley gently licked the side of his face and looked at the wolf. Max sighed and watched them.

Krystal came outside and saw Max. Then saw the wolf. She ran to the shed to get her shot gun she had hidden from Max. She came back with it and was aiming at the wolf. Buddy made a sound telling Miley to stay cose to Max. He ran to block anything from harming the wolf. He was a mate to the wolf and Miley's mate. He growled and for the first time he bared his teeth and all his fur was standing up.

Miley stayed near Max and Max looked at Krystal. "Krystal, don't you dare use that gun. Apparently that wolf is carrying his puppies." he said. He ran a hand through his hair.

She sighed and put the gun back. Buddy settled and looked at the wolf as she lowered to the ground in labour. He sat down and watched her. "Max, she's a wolf. Why keep her here when it'll cause things between Buddy and Miley again," she said.
