Relaxing(Edward)

"Hmm, well he's cute like his mommy then," he said. He had a feeling that tomorrow his brother James and his girlfriend would be coming to visit and he knew why. Zach stayed asleep and his hand gently held onto his mommy's finger.

She smiled and closed her eyes. She fell asleep.

He slowly fell asleep next to Zach and his wife. He was one happy man. But, he had a feeling Britney would wake up soon from a bad dream like she always did.

Britney whimpered and woke up crying from a bad dream that she had. Rachel was fast asleep and she didn't want to get up.

Edward heard her crying and got out of bed quietly so not to wake Zach who had moved to cuddle with his mommy. He left the room and went into Britney's room and went to her bed and picked her up and held her close while rubbing her back. "It's okay, sweetheart. It was just a bad dream," he said.

She quiet down a little and whimpered. "It was a scary dream, daddy." she said softly. She clung to him

"Shh, it's alright. I'll take you to bed with me and mommy. Zach had a bad dream too. He's in bed with mommy right now," he said. He carried her out of her bedroom carrying her and her teddy bear.

Britney nodded and held on to her daddy

He went into the bedroom and gently laid her down in the bed next to Zach and Rachel. He got into bed and leaned on his pillow. "Now, try and get some sleep, sweetie," he said.

Britney nodded and closed her eyes. Britney fell asleep.

Edward lay awake watching the three of them sleep. He had woken up from a bad dream himself. But, only of his past when he became what he is thanks to his brother. He didn't want Rachel to know seeing as he had a feeling if she knew it would cause him pain.

The next morning, Rachel slowly woke up and smiled softly at the three of them. Britney was sleeping next to Zach.

Edward had just fallen asleep sitting up. He had been awake all night watching them all sleep. He was going to need to sleep for a little bit longer. Zach stirred a little but he stayed asleep even though his diaper was dirty.

Britney woke up and smiled at her mommmy. Rachel smiled back and gently picked up Zach. She slowly got out of bed so not to wake up Edward and caried Zach to his room. Brintey got up and followed her mommy. Rachel gently laid Zach on the changing table and changed his dirty dipar to a clean dipar.

Zach giggled and looked up at his mommy. "Mommy," he said. It was his first word. Edward was still fast asleep but had moved to get more comfortable. He had to work today and knew if she didn't wake him in a few hours he'd be late for work.

She gasped softly and kissed his forehead. "Lets go wake up your daddy." she said smiling at her two kids. She picked him up. She looked at Brintey and smiled. They walked into the bedroom and she sat down on the bed near Edward. She smiled softly and knew what would wake him up. "Edward, Zach said his first word." she said smiling

Edward woke up and groaned a little. He wasn't really feeling too good. "What did he say?" he asked. He was showing signs of having the flu. Zach giggled and held onto his mommy's shirt.

She smiled softly. "He said mommy." she said. She then put a hand to his forehead and widdened her eyes. His forehead was hot and she got worried. "Edward, your sick." she said. She then looked at Zach and Britney. "Let me take care of these two and I'll come back up to take care of you.' she said. She cairred Zach and Britney followed them to the kitchen. Rachel put Zach in his high chair and Brintey sat down. Rachel got some breakfast for Britney and put it down in front of her. Rachel fed Zach and Britney at her breakfast.

Edward sighed and knew he had to get her to call the vet clinic to tell them he wasn't coming into work today. Zach finished eating and giggled. "Daddy sick" he said.

She nodded and put him in his playpen. She looked at Britney. "Keep an eye on your brother.' she said. Brintey nodded and sat down near the playpen. Rachel called the vet clinic and told them that Edward could't come to work today and that he was sick. She said bye to them and hung up. She went to the kitchen and got something for Edward. She went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed. "I called the vet clinic and told them that you were going to be in work today." she said softly. She took his temperture and sighed softly. It was a fever and she put the stuff near him

Edward coughed slightly. "Thanks for calling them, Rachy. I wouldn't have been able to call them myself," he said. He was glad he was in love with her. Zach picked up block in the playpen and started to spell a name. It spelled out, Luna.

Luna woke up and so did her puppies. The puppies went to Trigger and wanted to play with him. Luna got up and went to the playpen. She wagged her tail. Rachel looked at him worridly. "do you need anything?" she asked softly

"No, just some rest and maybe a hot bath after I rest a little bit," he said. He hoped by tomorrow he'd be better so he can go to work and get money in so they could buy stuff. Zach giggled and put his hand against the netting on the playpen. "Doggie," he said. He wanted Luna to be his dog. Trigger growled softly. He wanted to be left alone. He moved and wandered into the bedroom and jumped onto the bed beside Edward and curled up before going to sleep.

The puppies whimpered and went to their dog bed. Luna gently licked the hand and wagged her tail. she nodded and got up.

"Write down any words our son says while I rest," he said. He knew the baby book for James was in the kitchen with a blue pen. Zach giggled. "My doggie," he said. He wanted to play with Luna. He picked up his teddy bear and threw it out of the play pen and it almost hit Britney in the head.
